This package combines a visit to the Tulip excursion with a look at the famous, 33 km long, Afsluitdijk and a guided tour through different shelters of the fortress at Kornwerderzand. You will reach this carefully saved piece of history after a beautiful ride over the 33 kilometers long Afsluitdijk. In the fortress museum you will be guided in groups of maximum 15 persons through the different shelters and you will get information about things like: living in the fortress, the German attack in May 1940, the resistance, the fatal flight of the Lockheed Hudson, which crashed close to the fortress and the fire weapons in World War II.

The program could be as followed:
10.30 h                 welcome at the Tulip excursion with 2 cups of coffee/tea with Petit four
11.00 h                 PowerPoint presentation and guided tour
12.00 h                 farmers lunch buffet
13.00 h                 departure to the fortress museum
13.20 h                 stop at the monument of the Afsluitdijk
13.50 h                 departure from the monument
14.00 h                 arrival at the fortress museum , splitting the Group, guided tour
16.15 h                 end of the program

This package costs € 25 per person, including VAT. The package can be booked by groups of 20 to 50 persons, from end of December until beginning of May. This price excludes transport to and from the different attractions.
