Holland Flowers Festival
If you love flowers, you will enjoy a visit to the Holland Flowers Festival which takes place from Wednesday 23 until Sunday 27 February 2011. This colorful event is the traditional start of spring with beautiful blooming bulb flowers. The Holland Flowers Festival 2011 will take you to Mexico. Sombreros, pyramids and a sunny atmosphere, with this theme the bulb growers will present you their beautiful flower creations and newest bulb flowers. In the consumers fair you will find modern products for your house and garden.

The Tulip excursion and Flowers Festival have arranged three packages:
Package 1:
Arrival at the Tulip excursion with two cups of coffee/tea and petit four. After this welcome there will be a PowerPoint presentation and guided tour through the greenhouses, cold stores and bunching room . After the tulip excursion you will leave to the Holland Flowers Festival where you will be welcomed with a lunch, consisting of soup of the day, several species of bread and rolls, meat, cheese, jam, a typical Dutch warm meat ‘kroket’ and of course coffee/tea and milk. Then you will have plenty of time to visit the flower garden with Mexican theme and have a look at the consumer fair. This is a colorful day!
Course of this program: 10.00 – 15.30 o’clock

Package 2:
Welcome at Holland Flowers Festival with coffee/tea and cake. After this you will have plenty of time to visit the flower garden with Mexican theme and have a look at the consumer fair. At the end of the morning you will leave to the tulip excursion where you will be welcomed with a farmers lunch buffet consisting of delicious luxury bread rolls (ciabatta’s, baguettes, hard and soft rolls filled with different meats and cheeses), westfrisian  krentenmik (with cinnamon and sugar), fruit, milk en buttermilk. Then there will be a PowerPoint presentation and a guided tour through the greenhouses, cold stores and bunching room.
Course of this program: 10.00 – 15.30 o’clock

Package 3:
Choice of above mentioned packages, in which lunch will take place at restaurant ‘de tafel van Agriport’, in the middle of the large scaled greenhouse area of the polder Wieringermeer. This beautiful restaurant uses local greenery products, very ‘green’ and tasteful!
